Where do I get Scapper?

Install Scapper from the Chrome Web Store.

Scapper found nothing on my page

Open the Scapper panel first, then reload the page. Scapper can only see data the page loads while the panel is open. If it still finds nothing, try "Reload and capture" in the panel.

What is the difference between Captured and Read?

Captured means Scapper found the data file used to draw the chart, so values match the source. Read means Scapper hovered over the chart and collected the values it showed. Read results can miss points or be rounded.

Why does Chrome say "started debugging this browser"?

Chrome shows this notice only when you use "Reload and capture" and confirm it. It appears while Scapper reads the data the page downloads. The notice goes away when the reload finishes.

Does Scapper send my data anywhere?

No. The data you collect stays in your browser. We only keep your account, plan and monthly usage counts. See the privacy policy.
