The data behind the chart, in a spreadsheet.
Scapper is a Chrome extension for analysts and researchers. Point at a chart, map or dashboard on any web page and download the numbers behind it as a CSV. No code, no copying by hand.
Awaiting Chrome Web Store reviewWorks in Google Chrome on desktop. Your data stays on your computer.
How it works
Open the Scapper panel
Click the Scapper icon in Chrome's toolbar. The panel opens beside the page.Point at the data
Click the chart, map or table you want. Scapper finds the data the page used to draw it.Download a CSV
Check the table in the panel, rename columns if you like, and save it as a spreadsheet.
Exact when it can be. Honest when it can't.
The real numbers
Scapper picks up the data file that feeds the chart, so values match the source, not a picture of it.
Read off the chart
When no data file is available, Scapper hovers over the chart like you would and collects each value. These results are labeled, so you always know which is which.
Stays on your computer
No account, no server, no tracking. Scapper only works while its panel is open, and what it finds never leaves your browser.
Built for the charts analysts actually use
Chart libraries
Highcharts, ECharts, Chart.js, Plotly, ApexCharts, amCharts and Recharts, plus many custom charts.
Dashboards
Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, Metabase, Looker Studio and Qlik.
Maps and lists
Points behind Leaflet, Mapbox, OpenLayers and deck.gl maps. Lists and tables on ordinary pages (beta).
Some sites load data in ways no extension can see. When that happens, Scapper tells you instead of guessing.
