Scapper

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

The short version

Scapper runs entirely inside your browser, on your computer. We have no servers. We do not collect, receive, sell or share any data about you or the pages you visit. Data only leaves your browser when you yourself save a file.

What Scapper does

Scapper has one purpose: it turns data on web pages you view (lists, tables, and the data behind charts, maps and dashboards) into a spreadsheet file you can save.

What Scapper reads, and when

What we collect about you

Nothing. Scapper contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no remote code. It makes no network requests to any server of ours, because we do not run any.

Where your data goes

Data Scapper finds is kept in your browser's memory while you work, and in the files you choose to download. Your settings are saved in your browser's local extension storage. You can delete them at any time by removing the extension. We never see, receive or store any of it.

Limited Use

The use of information received from web pages follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Page data is used only to provide Scapper's single purpose described above. It is never transferred to anyone, never used for advertising, and never sold.

Payments

Scapper is free during early access and has no payment features. If paid plans are added later, this policy will be updated first and will name the payment provider.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
